Sarah Duncan

Sarah is a Bristol based artist influenced by forms and light invisible to the naked eye. Through her masterful etchings and painstaking original drawings, she seeks beauty in the realms of science, astronomy, microscopy.

Sarah's work reflects on Optical Technology, telescopes peering into the deep past or microscopes delving into hidden worlds, and tries to grasp what would be unknowable without them.
Sarah exhibits internationally and has been awarded residencies at Kitt Peak National Observatory, Arizona, and at the Arteles Creative Center in Hämeenkyrö, Finland. She holds an MA in Printmaking from Bristol UWE.
